00:00:09:05 So, we come to the little video that explains something about the professors of the School;
00:00:16:15 and the professors. each one of the professors, is responsible for what we call a module.
00:00:25:04 Some professors double and have two modules, but most of them have one module.
00:00:30:20 One module is a set of four to six themes, we said that there are 18 themes,
00:00:37:19 they are linked first and second year in pairs
00:00:42:00 but also they are linked through another association that is more thematic.
00:00:51:06 And this association constitutes the module,
00:00:54:23 - of course, each pair belongs to the same module-.
00:00:58:06 but they also link with another pair.
00:01:01:12 So, I'll give you an example:
00:01:03:04 We start with "Know yourself": this is the only module that actually has six topics.
00:01:09:02 All the other modules have four.
00:01:11:19 But this one is what we call the mandatory module and it has six topics:
00:01:17:05 and the topics are: "Know yourself",
00:01:19:10 with the corresponding "Suffering"
00:01:22:00 the middle one is "Silence" with the corresponding "Joy",
00:01:26:01 and the final one is "Fulfilment" with the corresponding "Solitude".
00:01:30:02 Those six topics are a Module.
00:01:33:00 And I'm going to introduce you to the professors to that Module.
00:01:37:19 There are five professors because there are five perspectives.
00:01:41:12 But in this particular Module, there are eight professors
00:01:44:18 because one of the perspectives, the Literary perspective, has three professors
00:01:49:20 who, together, will be preparing the classes.
00:01:52:14 For the literary perspective on that module we have as professors
00:01:59:18 Sònia Moll, Teresa Guilleumes and Neus Forcano.
00:02:04:21 In this case, all three are Catalan;
00:02:07:06 you'll see that of our team of 20 professors, twelve are Catalan, and 8 will be international.
00:02:14:07 After the literary perspective, we move into biblical;
00:02:18:21 the professor is Hora Aboav.
00:02:21:03 For the perspective of Fine Arts, Anna Pou van den Bossche.
00:02:28:03 And the musical perspective, Josep Maria Gregori i Cifré.
00:02:32:02 We move to the second Module which has the topics of
00:02:37:15 "Love", corresponding "Freedom",
00:02:41:10 "Forgiveness" corresponding "Innocence",
00:02:44:19 or some of the professors, prefer to call it "Virtue".
00:02:48:10 For that second Module, as professor of literature we have the poet Marta Pessarrodona.
00:02:54:13 For the Bible, we have the professor Moisés Mayordomo that comes from the University of Basel.
00:03:04:01 For the perspective of Fine Arts we have again professor Anna Pou van den Bossche.
00:03:12:04 And, for the perspective of Theology, we have..., it's myself, who does that,
00:03:18:13 Actually I realize now that I skipped the Theology in the First Module, so,
00:03:23:18 let me tell you that I'm also the professor for the Theological Perspective on the First Module.
00:03:29:11 And finally the musical perspective the professor is Laura de Castellet.
00:03:36:06 Third Module: For the third module, the topics are:
00:03:40:13 The topic of "Grace", and the topic of "Truth"
00:03:44:00 The topic of "Community" and "Justice".
00:03:48:03 For the literature, the professors are Cristina Guarnieri, who comes from Rome.
00:03:55:02 For the Bible, the professor is Deborah Williger; she comes from Münster and also from Potsdam,
00:04:06:02 next to Berlin.
00:04:07:07 The professor for Fine Arts is Cristina Yurena Zerr, that comes from Austria,
00:04:15:07 and for the final class, the film director Milo Rau.
00:04:20:16 For the perspective of theology,
00:04:23:13 it's not myself, it is Dr. Farah Zeb that comes from London and is a Muslim theologian.
00:04:31:21 And for the music, is Maria Ribera i Gibal
00:04:35:13 And finally, our fourth and last module,
00:04:40:13 The topics in that module are:
"Word", "Meaning", "Humility", and "Prayer".
00:04:48:07 Professor for the literary perspective is Mercè Ibarz.
00:04:53:05 Professor for the Biblical perspective: Silke Petersen who comes from Hamburg.
00:04:59:13 Professor for the Fine Arts, Natalia Esquinas.
00:05:04:09 Professor for Theology is again Dr. Farah Zeb.
00:05:08:19 And professor for music is the composer Bernat Vivancos.
